What makes you think it's a fake?

The all "0"s under the barcode... i have owned one of these same rails before and just can't remember details like that.

Ebay haha... it was late and it was a pretty good deal :( . I have owned 4 of these previously and I felt pretty comfortable ID'ing it. However, after i bought it, I noticed it was listed in the "sporting good - outdoor sports - airsoft" section and the "0s" with barcode. I have talked to a few people with the black MK18 and supposedly the 0's are correct. It really does look real to me and I will have it today so I'll take a really close look at it when it gets here. The seller has been really responsive, has 100 pos feedback (45) and has provided his phone number so I'm hoping (and fairly confident) that it is good to go. However, if i get beat on it, I understand it is my fault for not abiding by solid buying principles. This is the first I have bought on the secondary market. Here is the ad:

All his feedback is for items he purchased not sold. This may be the first item he has sold on ebay under that account.

When you get it I would call DD and ask them. Most companies I have done that with have been super helpful in identifying if its a real part.

Looks real to me. Nothing to make me think otherwise. SKU and Mfg P/N are correct. Nothing about the actual rail system seems out of the ordinary. I think you're good to go. What color are the helicoil inserts in the lower rail? They should be pinkish purple.

They are pinkish/purplish.... it had the yellow thread locker stuff on the bolts. Anodizing looked right... t-markings looked right. It looked good to go. I really appreciate your response.

Marler5811 is a DD rep. 2 posts up haha. Once i got it, there are a lot of specific things you can look for that they would never match in a fake so once i got my hands on it i felt pretty good. Definitely helps to have someone from DD give an assessment too though.
