I know, I know, most would rather have a sister in a whore house than to shoot wolf ammo but.....Anyone shooting it? Opinions on accuracy?

If you're referring to the steel-cased stuff, I haven't tried it.

If you're referring to the brass-cased stuff which is reportedly re-packaged Prvi Partizan, I have shot a small amount of it.

Conditions were kinda breezy, and hot enough (90 - 95 deg) to provide some heat mirage. Gun was a LaRue Stealth upper build, shooting off a bipod, at 100 yards.

I've never claimed to be the best shot in the world, but to help calibrate a frame of reference, the Wolf stuff was shooting a bit better than the couple of 77 grain Mk262-type loads I also shot that day.

I was referring to the steel case stuff, but that is pretty good accuracy in the repackaged privi. This may sound weird, but I'm getting scary accuracy shooting steel wolf 55 & 62 grain HP's out of my Colt 6920, than I am using my Colt lower/saber defense middy upper. I may have to order some rounds to compare herehttp://www.jgsales.com

Awesome training ammo. Have you seen the thread on TOS? It chrono's somewhere between TAP FPD and 5.56 TAP. and costs just about the same as the 55gr wolf. Finally a company within the industry that is listening to the consumer.

I ran 500rds of the new Wolf 75gr HP steel cased ammo during a carbine class I took with Sully last week. Zero issues with the ammo. Just as dirty as the other Wolf ammo, but it ran just fine in my MRP. I did not get to do any group measurements, but out of my MRP's 1/7 twist barrel, I was able to tag the steel silhouette targets at 100yds with ease.

This is excellent training ammo for those with 1/7 twist barrels.

I've seen a little bit on this ammo, but haven't tried it yet.

Looks promising.

Just read it. That guy provided some very good info on velocities with different barrel lengths.

Anyone have terminal ballistic data on this? Could give TAP a real run for the money.

Would 75gr be too heavy on a 1x9 twish 14.5 barrel? Looks like great plinking ammo for the money.

Your gun may or may not run it reliably. I'd buy a little to try before investing in a big lot of it. If it were me, I wouldn't expect my 14.5 1:9 to run 75 grain stuff.

That said, the AIM link has the 55 grain stuff for even less money, and for plinking holes in cans and paper, the extra 20 grains aren't gaining you much of anything except a lighter wallet.

Thanks Josh. I have a BM 1x9 14.5 with Phantom that I've had for 3years but was thinking a Noveske N4 setup and the 75gr should perform well in the 1x7 barrel.

I have shot a least 1,000 wolf 55/62grain steel cased rounds from a 1/9 twist barrel- accuracy was not the best but the ammo ran 100%, I have never had one malfunction using it.
