I will not name brands as i did not get a hold of the manufacturer because I wanted an unbiased opinion from here first.
And to be honest I'm not sure whether it's a real problem or not so i wanted to ask.
The barrel is a chrome lined 14.5 from a reputable manufacturer, literally just taking out of the packaging,so I started to go over it. I would just shoot it and see if accuracy is a problem,but I don't want to have to pin and weld a device on just to remove it.
I noticed some scratches in the bore on the chrome lining through the gas port hole where it seems they allowed their bit to go a little to far, there not gouges or dings but seems to be just scratches.
I ran a new bore snake through it and they more or less went away but only still slightly noticeable i wasn't sure if they would smooth out through shooting or not, or cause any accuracy problems.
the crown seems rough compared to what I've seen on other barrels and wanted to know what you guys thought, not to worried about the patchy parkerizing up there ( though i wish it was even) but just the cut itself is what caught my eye.
would you guys accept it or would you advise me to get a hold of the manufacturer?
