Well after searching and waiting for a couple months, the patience paid off. I found a used one here for $120 (thanks Ron S), plus my rich uncle George W. sent me a little check to help stimulate the economy :)

I was looking for an inexpensive illuminated dot sight for my second rifle and thought the Bushnell Trophy 1x32 with red/green (selectable) T reticle was cool since it looks similar to an ACOG. It's not an ACOG and it's not an Aimpoint, but good enough for a "tier 39" personnel like myself. I don't fast rope due to fear of height and won't need to swim underwater since I don't own any scuba gear.

Zeroing at 50 yds. was less painful than usual. The elevation was right by luck and windage was a little right. Two three shot groups later the gun was shooting POA/POI at 50 yds.

The T reticle was something I'm not familiar with, having used an Aimpoint for the last 5 years and a cheap Tasco (dot) 5 years before that. The T didn't hurt the accuracy, I noticed that going from low ready to fire at a 15 yd. IDPA target felt a little slower than my ML2. I didn't use a timer, it was just a feeling.

The scope mounted easily on the flat top with the Troy rear sight folded down.

I'll give it a more thorough workout tomorrow.

IMO it's a kickass little sight.

Perfect cowitness with my BUIS out of the box, variable reticles, definite waterproofing, etc.

For a RDS it's hard to beat. I've beat it up quite a bit, and it hasn't died on me yet. It hasn't lost zero, and I've yet to Loctite the little bitch on.

I haven't experienced the reticle canting, but it would be rather frustrating. At CQC distances, it really shouldn't be a problem, but...

It's cheap, it's not a name-brand tacticool piece of kit, but it gets the job done, and allows for extremely fast target acquisition in a variable host of lighting.
