Gentlemen. Looking to convert my .223 XCR L to 7.62x39. Will be using LAR 10 round pistol mags and Russian/Romanian/Czech surplus ammo. I am wondering how reliable this conversion is as the rifle in .223 has been good if not very accurate. The rifle is rarely used since buying a Tavor and with the reclassification of my CZ858 I have lots of 7.62x39mm ammo just sitting. No interest in a SKS or Vz58 at this point, looking for a reasonable quality rifle in 7.62x39 with the ability to mount optics. With the silly gun laws up North the AK series is right out as is a AR conversion. Thanks.
