Chrono info on several guns & loads from today 28OCT14.

FINALLY got a chance to load up all my stuff and hit my hometown outdoor range about 45 miles away today.
Took everything I could think of Ive been wanting to chrony. So, in no particular order here are some results today.
Hope this helps someone! All strings 10 rounds. Weather 64 degrees and overcast, then sunny.

1. LMT Defender Carbine 1/7 16".
M193 55gr FMJ: Average vel-3121 Extreme Spread-94fps.
Speer Gold Dot Soft Point 64gr.223: Average vel-2789 Extreme Spread-46fps
M855 62gr Green Tip: Average vel-2984 Extreme Spread-53fps
Federal .223 55gr.FMJ Value Pack: Average vel-2913 Extreme Spread-51fps

2. Glock 17 9mm.
Winchester +P+ 127gr Hollow Point: Average vel-1268 Extreme Spread- 18fps. EXCELLENT. My carry load.

Well, there you go. Ive got a lot more to chrony as time allows. Especially some MagTech 45 ACP advertised as a +P load @ 1007fps. Cant wait to check that out.
Also- my new Glock 41 is really shining with its new trigger job. The gun is great, was banging small pop up steel between 50-60 yards easy. Got several more loads out of this one I want to chrony. Any suggestions welcomed.

This has nothing to do with your question, but a lot of people get different velocities with different rifling twists. A 1/8 is said to produce more velocity than a 1/7. But, I don't think Noveske has any 1/8 barrels. I just thought that would be an interesting "twist" to this thread.
