1st Build

I already own an AR that I bought from someone I knew and I love it. I want to build myself one for Christmas but I don't know a list of all the parts I need to build the rifle. Please no hate... I am new to this whole build your own AR thing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Watch those videos, and be ready to read LOTS of links. DO read the forum rule threads, but also read as much as you can about AR assembly - time spent reading some of the quality material here = money not wasted breaking things, damaging parts, or buying the wrong stuff. I can't emphasize how much you want to just read a ton, google questions, use the Google CustomSite Search, and then read some more... it's worth it.

Most people in your situation will just buy the upper and lower separate. You can look at BCM and choose a great upper with sights and rail etc of your choice. The options they give is truly awesome. And quality second to none.
