That's alot of rail.. I was going to go for the 12" on my Middy but I just like the look in genrel of the middy.. I know I will be getting a DD lite rail for my next upper for sure tho.. I really do think they are the best Rails made.. I use a Troy right now and It is a very good rail its just the DD lite rail looks so damn good

The Troy is a great rail -- but the DD Lite of the same length is definitely lighter -- especially as the rails get longer.

The Troy is VERY well-built, and I would imagine the 14.0 is a packer.

If overall weight is a factor, the DD Lite is hard to beat, IMHO.

Me likes 'em light...
