Got the bride home from the hospital and needed to grab a few minutes to finish this project. Conditions were excellent, so the target will speak for itself.
Lake city brass Wolf SRM primers IMR 8208 XBR cartridges seated to over all length of 2.255" average. All rounds cycled perfectly. The ACOG is zero'd with my prior load for coyotes, so no sight adjustments were made, first group was from a cold clean bore. The 1st round is centered in that group. :)

Rifle was configured as you see it here:

5 of the 6 rounds in the 22.6 grain load went into .275 MOA

I'm still trying to work up some 62gr and 69gr loads with 8208 XBR.

I only worked up to 23.7 gr on a PRVI 69gr and got terrible grouping out of my 16" Noveske. At 23.7 gr it was tight horizontally but strung 3" vertically.

Glad to see you're getting good groups with it. I just worked up a few more loads at 23.6, 23.8, 24.0, and 24.2 that I'm going to test this weekend.

If I can't get sub-MOA out of this test batch I'm switching to my stash of Nosler 69 gr and ditching the PRVI.

Nice shooting btw.

Takes a quality bullet to make good groups. My experience with a very limited number of Privi's is a waste of good powder and barrel life. Only to my standards, but I'm paying the freight too. YMMV

My 14.5 ELW Barrel shoots 1.5-2 MOA with remanufactured FMJ, I wonder what it'll do with some good handloads

I agree, but I really expected better than what I'm getting.

Mike,
I know it's a different bullet than the PRVI but this thread may help.

Sako and the folks in that thread, including me, are getting good results with a little less powder.
Good luck this weekend.

Thanks Eric. For the sake of not hijacking this thread I'll continue reading and running my load ladder, and start a new thread if necessary.

Thanks guys.

As much as I love the 77 Noslers, I never did get the 69s to do anything thrilling.

If you want sub MOA, Jump to the 77s and make it easy on yourself.

Going to start a new thread as to not take away from Sako's original point and topic.

Thanks for all the tips and links guys. It's great getting tips and insight from you all since I am just starting to wander into accuracy loading.
