I've been kicking around the idea of building me a .204 Upper to shoot Prarie Dogs with.

Does anyone have any suggestions for my trigger. I don't really know too much about the different trigger choices.

I had 2 204's. One had a Timney and the other JP. I like both triggers, the timney easy drop in. Both rifles would shoot .5 MOA or better but the barrels would foul to soon for my taste, long before the .223 barrels need cleaning. The groups opened up quite a bit, with as few as 25 shots, less when they were new. That is irritating when the dog shooting is good.

The other thing I hated worse was getting 204 brass mixed in with the 223. Sucks if your high volume loader.

I got rid of both rifles.
