Unsuppressed. I have an H2 already and was going to hold off buying another buffer if I don't have to.

Runs like a champ with a H2 and carbine spring unsuppressed. Might want a adjustable gas block if throwing a can on the rifle.

Thanks. No plans on a can at this point but duly noted.

No worries. Mine ate any and all ammo even with the H2. If you need to mess around with weights after you get it up and running, PM me and Ill send you a H and H3 to try out if you send them back after. Flat rate USPS boxes are cheaper sometimes then buying a bunch of buffers..

Thanks for the offer! I was more concerned not so much with function but with beating the gun up. It'll be fed 5.56 pressure fodder, no .223 stuff. Supposedly DD has tweaked the gas port size to address any potential issues.

Yes, unless it's a DD, then an H3 would be best.

I'm using an H2 on a DD bbl with a Syrac block and Tubb spring on my MK18. Runs like a champ suppressed and unsuppressed.

Yeah, it's a DD. Gotta consider an H3 huh? Point taken, thanks.

As noted. If it was a DD I would use a blue Sprinco and H3 buffer.

I'll amend my rec to reflect the Blue spring as well.
