Been searching and trying to gather Intel on this part.

Have ya'll had any experience with these? GTG?

They sell them at the local supply house nearest to the Marine Core base. Not sure if that means they are used by the troops or not. Wondering if they would break as they are alum. Also about staking them in place.

Feedback or info appreciated.

Thanks!

Seems awful bulky when a Noveske (http://www.midwayusa.com/product/180467/noveske-receiver-end-plate-with-quick-detach-sling-swivel-mount-point-ambidextrous-ar-15-lr-308-carbine-steel-matte) would be cheaper, and lower-profile.

Ya, that is a lot cheaper for sure. Hadn't seen that one. Thank you!

I have the Troy on my work gun and love it. Very well made. I wish my rifle had come with it from the factory. Gives the operator three different attachment points and is not "bulky" at all.

By whited, did you stake yours? If so, how'd it come out? Thanks

I did stake mine. Was very easy to do and turned out great.

I have one on my Colt and feel the same way!
