Has anyone heard of any deals going on this year?

I always manage to buy a ton of guns, uppers, optics, etc during the lull that seems to happen every year in the gun industry in late summer. The prices are good then, but this year I refrained because I always run out of money by, miss the really good deals on, Black Friday.

With the AR market so soft, I can't imagine prices can really get much lower. I wouldn't be expecting very many awesome deals on Friday/Monday.

On a serious note. I am already setting up to place a few ordered then from my go to sites for a few things I have been wanting, but figure I might be able to save a buck here or there on Black Friday. That said, most of the stuff I need is gear related and not gun related.

I know I want to buy a 20" upper for my younger brother to finish the build I did for him. Also I want a 6.8 upper to build a rifle for my dad, because he's my dad and he's awesome so he deserves me building a rifle for him, and he hasn't owned an AR yet because .223 always seemed too light for his tastes.

I did buckle....Wife wanted a new snubbie, so, new 340 for her, and I bought a Mod.69.. You can't go wrong on the price, The last time I paid a little over $500 for a .44 mag, (629 w/power port bbl) was in the 90's...

Aside from my wife's need for fresh electronics (iPad required for school, her dated laptop is too clunky so that'll get some cyber monday love), I'll really just be looking at weaponlight parts, tools, and as always ammunition. SoldierSystems does, however, do an excellent job of pointing me towards stuff to spend money on that I lack a true need for, so I'll keep checking there.

If that is the case I might have to mosey on over to Walmart this weekend.

Guess it depends on what the 6920s are listed for. Probably still buy one online cheaper if they are at $1099 like before. Been a long time since I checked.

For a little more, you get OEM, metal-lined mags. Gl9s do not have a long, proven track record, yet. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Yeah it's weird. The H1 said use the coupon code to get $499, but then adding it changed it to $399 and there are other ads with issues you mentioned.

I wish TNVC had a good BF sale. I'm not really seeing anything good this year.
