School me on the Burris xtr ii 1.5-8

What are your thoughts on this optic. I realize there are better optic, but they cost a lot more. For sub 800 dollars is this a good optic for just all around use?

I'm torn between this and paying more for a Vortex 1-6. Where did you see the Burris sub-$800?

Found a guy with a nib that he no longer wants. I'm torn as well....I really like the Vortex HD gen ii.

I went ahead and pick up this optic for 725. I think that's probably a good buy. I'll let you know how it works out.
