....And this exciting piece would be a Colt 6520LE with a freshly installed Magpul FCS/MOE stock. The stock comes with two 1&1/4" slots molded into the frame; one on the bottom ledge, and the other parallel with the butt plate. It also includes two QR swivel installations; one across from the other, on the upper rear of the stock. I'm looking for ideas on how best to sling this little darling up...taking best advantage of the attachments available and the slings out there today.

If you are right handed, the best location is probably to use the QD socket on the right side, away from your cheek. It tends to keep the sling more out of the way when shouldering the rifle and also makes swapping to left hand shooting easier. I made the swap to this position at a close quarter carbine course a couple months ago at the suggestion of the instructor and really like it better. Not a huge difference, but enough to be worth it.
