Search yielded some older threads. What's the story on these? Didn't find much negative feedback on the Crs. At the price they seem competitive in the 1-6 class. Which had me wondering why they don't get more discussion?

Very close looking reticle to the ACSS Primary Arms 1-6

I guarantee Ed Verdugo's GRSC reticle came first...

I had the 1-6 for quite awhile. The reticle is useful if you take the time to get familiar with it. It's almost like a HUD with multiple components/uses. It is FFP so the reticle at 1x is supposed to be a large aiming point and at 6x you get all the ranging and drop stuff. Illum is bright but not quite daylight bright.

Looks like both would take some getting used to, be a lot easier to give a try from the price standpoint compared to other 1-6 optics out there.

They get lots of discussion on arfcom; http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_18/554877_GRSC_1_6x24_FFP_Horseshoe_Reticle_Combat_Rifle_Scope__CRS_.html

FWIW, the inventor goes to many gun shows and seems to still be quite involved with the production, R&D and customer relations of the optic. It sounds like a good optic and a bit of an overlooked gem, but I've never held or looked through one.

Read most of the threads on here and tos. I'm just just surprised it's not more popular. Maybe there's a reason for that I guess.

The deal breaker for me was shelling out $1060.00 with only a 2 yr warranty.
YMMV, but that's what killed it for me.
