Does anybody know if there is a source of supply for NAMMO IR tracers in the U.S? Looking for small quantities of 5.56 and 7.62. Thanks.

J&G has some tracers but I do not know if they are IR or not. Doubt it.

demi,

It's made by NAMMO the Norwegian ammo maker. It is also called a dim light tracer and is purported to be invisible with the naked eye.

Dan Shea Who owns and or publishes Small Arms Reveiw was the owner or a partner in a company that distributed Nammo ammo in the U.S.A.. Sorry can not rember the company name. I think they are in Henderson Nevada. I bet you can get to him through the Small Arms reveiw web site. Good luck

Made contact with someone I know that way on the inside about this. There may be some issues with it being restricted (due to the technology) and will see what happens. Trying to procure some for "R&D" purposes.

Yup, the only ones I ever saw had the tips painted purple. Also you have to use night vision to see them.
