What frustrates me is had this agent used lethal force on this person, AS HE WOULD HAVE BEEN LEGALLY JUSTIFIED TO DO, this would be all over the news. But apparently having a suspected illegal alien smash in an agent's face with a rock doesn't read as well as "Border Patrol Agent shoots undocumented immigrant armed only with rock."

And then the headlines would read, "Sec Homeland Security Injured in Car Crash" and about 20 paragraphs down there might be a mention of "suspected to be an undocumented alien, but this has not been confirmed."

When is the print and electronic media going to start reporting facts and not op-ed every report? When the journalism colleges that turn them out are no longer controlled by liberal, agenda driven staff. In short, probably never.

This doesn't have the sexy cache of "white vs. black". This is clearly a piece of scum doing what scum does. They cant perpetuate the "white guilt" or "racism lives" story line....so its not news or worth talking about.

these mindless mobs have no interest in hearing facts or rationally thinking through to logical conclusions. they just want to promote lawlessness and then at the exact same time expect someone to show up and defend their life and property and also remedy petty squabbles when something encroaches on their own life.

I hope the Patrol Agent makes a full and complete recovery from his injuries.

I also hope karma catches up with his attacker, preferably in the form of a nice chunk of granite. And I'm not talking new kitchen counters, either.
