Shot Show is a month away! Who's going? Meetup?
I'll be there from Monday - Thursday.
I'll be there Tuesday thru Friday.
Wednesday and Thursday for me, but I may be helping DOA with media day as the owner is a personal friend.

Not sure which days I'll be there though I took off for the whole week but I am planning on coming out.

That's more or less what I do as its the only time I get vacation that doesn't involve a shooting competition of some kind.
Ususally spend Tuesday and Wednesday at the Show then the rest of the week is party time.
I'll be there Tuesday thru Friday.

Lets get it setup. Any night will work for me. One of the nights is gonna be date night since the gf is coming since her birthday is the middle of the week of the show.
We're on. How about Tuesday night - after the end of the first full day. I suggest meet at one of the hotel's buffet near the show. It's easier to do the buffet since we may have a bunch of people. I've been to the Mirage buffet at least a dozen times, they're consistently good and more reasonably priced than other places, plus it's across the street from the Venetian (show).

I/RS Regulate will be there splitting time between Hi-Lux Optics and Wolf booths.

Ive never eaten at the Venetian buffet like you are talking about. Generally if its a buffet, has prime rib and crab legs, im game for some destruction.

last year we ended up, somehow, following a guy and his wife around(or they were following us) and my buddy tripped over the dudes cart like 8 times because the guy would leave it in the middle of the aisle. My buddy finally took it and pushed it over to the side out of the middle of the aisle. I think somebody else pushed it under a table that had a skirt around it. The guy was flipping out looking for his cart. He was screaming at his wife, searching everywhere. It was one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed, a 60+ year old man having a nervous breakdown because his cart filled with shit was missing. Dont know if he ever found it.

I finally understood the "carts" comment. Saw some of those, they're usually amateurs LOL. Veterans of SHOT shows usually walk very light.

Not a bad idea but not a new one either. Beer and alcohol are sold all over the place, the show is only yards away from the casino floor and bars.

Ill be out there, but my group is dead set on going to Ceasers on Tuesday night and I cant convince them otherwise.
Waiting to see if my boss schedules anything for me Tuesday Night. Should know by Friday.

The last time I ate at the Caesars buffet was probably 2010 or 2011. Was disappointed. If they did renovated it, I hope they have a new chef. $50 is kind of steep. That's why I suggested Mirage, they're about $35 I think. Can't really remember because we never had to pay. LOL.

Thats up to you all, dont let me change your plans. My buddies are set on going to Ceasers on Tuesday night so thats where I will go, we tend to stick together in Vegas. The buffet is rated #1 in vegas for a reason though and its truly an impressive buffet. I think their annual budget is $100 million. The freakin desert bar had at least 50+ things on it.

We have arrived, jet lagged but checked in the hotel and relaxing.
Same here Jon. The food at the Mirage slipped a little. We checked out the Bellagio buffet last night and found it much better. That will be my new go to buffet unless proven otherwise.
Going home on Friday.

We were on a budget and we had a BOGO at the Mirage. The food wasn't as good as it used to be but the price was great.
