Doesn't seem to be much love for fixed stocks around here. I'm in the process of my first home build (not a custom build) using a ace skeleton stock. So let's see some pics of those fixed stocks for some inspiration. I'll post mine up when finished.

Looks like a clean solid stock. Im just not a fan of moving parts on my stock. I chose the ace Skelton because with It I feel like it I can knock a door down.

The Magpul fixed carbine is a monster. I've never handled the Ace stock, so I can't compare... but the Magpul fixed carbine is the strongest feeling stock I've ever tried. Really meaty.

So far handling I love the ACE. Haven't shot it yet though. But 100% metal construction and extremely light.

I agree about the Magpul FCS. If the LOP is a good fit for you, they are pretty tough to beat for durability and simplicity (and price). I hope they add a FCS with an angled cheekweld at somepoint (e.g., ACS/STR/SL cheek welds).

I don't have many pics but here's my wife's carbine with a FCS over an A5 extension.
