Samson Evo rail on Oracle

Hey all. First post. Been lurking for a while.

A buddy is installing (or trying to) a Samson Evo rail on a DPMS Oracle. Both say standard barrel nut. Handguard is way bigger. Other than a new barrel nut, is there any solution, (adaptor).

The rail should come with thermal bushings. They go on the barrel nut, rail goes on over them.
