what kind of eye protection is out there for those of us that wear Rx glasses.... was thinking of some type of goggle rather than Rx inserts.

I guess it really depends on what you are looking for. I wear glasses and have a few pairs of industrial type working glasses and some geared to the work I do.

Look for the lenses googles or shield to meet ansi z87 rating as a min for impact/flying objects.

Googles are good depending on where you live, in humid areas they fog fast and can be uncomfortable for recreational outings. Dry areas or cold windy areas they aren't as bad.

For prescription glasses there are a ton of options. Oakley frames are popular for many. I like Julbo frames, but I dont' think they are as impact rated, but the lenses are, and they make frames that are more useful for the outside work I do.

I like julbo frames as well.
