I was searching for a backpack for my ar pistol and found these guys. sorry if this has been posted before but I didn't find anything in the search. I LOVE the charging method ( I KNOW ITS BEEN DONE BEFOR) and they just look cool....different cool. I still wish it had a Forward assist and a brass deflector but its still sweet lookin:cool: the upper looks mighty thick though so it might not need a brass deflector if you know what I mean.

just thought id share http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/smiley_faces/icecream-smiley-face.gif (http://emoticoner.com)

Do you have any affiliation with this company?

What makes this weapon worth more than a BCM or Colt or DD or...?

well it looks like we are the only 2 in the "its cool" boat. whatever. I still think its is cool and I also think that some people get to worked up over the " proprietary parts" thing. I m not going to buy one anyway. they are to expensive.

I didn't see the post in February, so I'm glad I am seeing it now. Other than the fact it uses proprietary parts, I like the concept A LOT. I am not a Pro or Operator, but I shoot a lot and own and build a few rifles including SCARs. It just depends how well the concept was executed. I like the fact that they didn't try to make this a piston gun.

The things about this rifle I noticed from the pictures.

1. Side charging handle - I like to be able to manipulate the bolt without a forward assist and I like the CH on the left side.
2. It appears that they were smart to thicken the upper receiver material to compensate for the side CH cut out and the fact that the receiver is billet. I don't know if the rigidity and durability (metal fatigue) has been compensated for, but it is thicker.
3. The bag they came up with is something I would like to buy individually. There are a couple of things I would like to see, but it is a nice relatively compact bag from the looks of it.

I agree the bag by LBT is well thought out.

Just with they made solid colors...black or tan. Great bag though!

Nice looking bag. Wish it was a little more reasonable cost wise.

That giant cut in the side of the receiver seems like a great way to get crap in your rifle.

Would be a PTIA to mortar it. Suck worse if the handle broke off at the threads in doing so.

Nice concept though. A for effort.

Their 308 is not all that bad price wise.

I wouldn't worry about it breaking off as much as I would something environmental either kicking the bolt out of battery or preventing it from cycling properly.

That I can see (getting kicked out of battery), especially walking through the brush, or carrying sling only for a bit.
