For several families in the Tri-Cities, Christmas came early thanks to a "Secret Santa" of sorts.
A layaway angel made its way to the Toys 'R' Us in Johnson City on Saturday, paying off the remaining balance of all 52 layaway accounts at the store off of North Roan Street.
The store immediately reached out to families, spreading the good news. Toys 'R' Us Director of Consumer Public Relations, Adrienne O'Hara, tells us the 52 layaway accounts totaled more than $5,000
