Holster Issue

When you put the pistol/light in, is there excessive room for light entering, or just enough for it to get in? Everyone's fingers are different, so if the entry room isn't excessive it may just be what it is. My Safariland duty holster which holds a Glock 22 and TLR-1 has enough room for me to get my finger on the trigger. Honestly the only issue I can see with this is if I stick my finger in there and try to pull the trigger.
