the M249 barrel steel Noveskes uses, is that steel 4150? or another grade of steel altogether?

someone correct me if i am wrong and it has been some time since i had anything to do with a m249-- IF i recall correctly i think the m249steel is of another make than 4150cv with even higher cv content. i could be mistaken though--
the m249 barrel is very tough should last forever in a m16 system.:cool:
