Just bought myself a new Winter weapon. The Arsenal SLR106-60 pistol. It should arrive at my dealer next week. In cold weather, I like to use AKs. I also have an Arsenal SLR106FR with a PK-A red dot. My previous AKs have been in the Russian calibers. I'm trying to get away from those. I do still own a Norinco rifle in 7.62x39, that I purchased many years ago.
Does anyone have experience with the SLR106-60? Yes, the magazines are expensive and proprietary. That doesn't bother me. So far, I have purchased (7) .223 Bulgarian magazines for this pistol. A few more will be added later. If magazines become an issue a Definitive Arms conversion might be an option.
