I have had the opportunity to see genuine North Korean state TV and among the best was that Kim Jung Il has walked on the moon and is the inventor of the automobile.

I can't imagine the soul crushing isolation of living in North Korea, has to be a lot like that Star Trek episode where the man climbed the mountain and touched the "sky" and realized his confinement and went insane.

I'm assuming this was probably an inspiration for the end of The Truman Show?

Well I haven't seen The Truman Show, but it wouldn't be the first time an old Twilight Zone, Star Trek or other 1960s original concept got hijacked as the basis for a feature film. The worst offender is probably "The Box" (2009).

LOL.. this is SOP for most of these little pecker tyrants. I grew up with Ceausescu having invented the radio, TV and all other sort of things. He also single handedly defeated Hitler. One of the most scary and laughable things I ever heard from a US politician was that he invented the internet. That was a HUGE flashback for me.

Wow, there is some new perspective to consider.
