A startling new anti-gun ad released by a San Francisco-based production company encourages children to commit a series of crimes by stealing their parents’ guns and turning them over to school officials, The Daily Caller reported Monday.
Sleeper 13 Productions released the controversial video on Dec. 13. It shows a pouty, young boy wandering into his parents’ bedroom, stealing a handgun out of their dresser drawer and then shoving it into his backpack.
The boy then carries what is presumably a loaded weapon into his classroom. After class, he approaches the teacher, takes the gun out of his backpack and slams it onto her desk.

“Can you take this away? I don’t feel safe with a gun in my house,” the boy says.
“Our children deserve a safe world,” the ad says. “Stop gun violence now.”

This is one step above "Steal a gun. Shoot someone with it. Get a gun off the streets"

I reported the video for encouraging criminal acts and endangering children. :)

Nothing new, the socialists have been doing this for some time now. Brainwashed chat ldren turning in their parents.

Those who made this video should be charged with all of the car times that they just committed.

Didn't a kid do this in Newtown? Took a gun from his parent and give it to a teacher?

That is perhaps the most irresponsible thing I've ever seen.

Make a video of a kid turning in his parents "stash" of illegal drugs and watch the meltdown.

The fact that anyone thought this would be a good idea speaks volumes about the thought process of these clowns.

These brainless idiots might have ideas, but I doubt thay have much of any thought process in them. :(

That is a related discussion. For how many years now have we been validated any and all thoughts and ideas in the name of free expression and positive encouragement where children are concerned? Well now some of them are adults and they believe that ANY idea that rattles around in their head must be expressed and must be important because they were creative enough to come up with it.

Notions of critically self evaluating your ideas for actual merit are almost an alien concept.

Disturbing to say the least. It looks like many people have reported that video, including myself. Hands off the minds of my children, Muther****ers!

I'm lost for words. Well, I have a few but probably shouldn't spell them all out.

Actually I do have something to add.... Another good reason to watch what your kids are doing on the internet. ^^
Yes, stay out of my kids mind with stupidity and #%*#{]{#%**+}{]%**** Absolutely mind boggling.

This is beyond irresponsible and gives a clue as to the level of intelligence we're dealing with on this topic.

Oh I see.

Columbine was just a mishap with some kids trying to do the right thing.

And McVeigh was just turning over a car bomb he found to the Feds.

I feel like a real jerk for judging them before I knew all the facts.

I assume that isn't a real gun? A gun in a public school is a bozo-no-no. That's just shooting the video.

If a kid did this in real life, how many felonies would he be guilty of?

This could end so horrible. Yes, take the weapon to school, take it out in class...

The people who thought this up and put this out for kids to see should be brought up on charges and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Simply inexcusable and irresponsible to an extreme not to mention borderline retarded.

How many laws are they recommending breaking? They can not be serious. While I believe in 1A rights, these idiots need to be outed for what they are. Let's have kids illegally wielding guns, "FOR THE CHILDREN"!

Not a responsible husband and father anywhere in sight, either. Best case for a functional nuclear family I've ever seen.

Meanwhile the search for a cure for stupid goes on.

They know...deep down that gun control is a dead issue in most places so this is their sad and desperate attempt.

And it's still up. I guess Youtube doesn't care.

BECAUSE TO THOSE THAT SUPPORT THIS MESSAGE THIS IS RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERSHIP!
Besides, you take one down, another do-gooder will slap it back up because they think it's right.
I mean, it IS a "public" service announcement, so everyone needs to see it, right?.

Not that I feel youtube is bent one way or another (actually I'm kind of proud they've maintained such a neutral stance on literally everything)- I mean viewers and those that made it.

Say what y'all will but I love when the anti's pull this stuff, it shows their true level of intelligence. I had a guy at work, whom is neither pro/anti gun, bring this up in conversation. He mentioned the absurdity of entire commercial, from transporting possible loaded firearm, to taking gun into school and legal ramifications. Just like the commercial with woman and child being victimized, that blew up in their face. All their doing is pushing neutral people to our side with their stupidity. Let them try their hardest and we will bat down their best efforts with logic and common sense. Sure some will like this (and other) anti-gun propaganda, but they were probably lost in the first place. I call this one a win.

Every time I start to lean this way I remember that the majority of this country elected Obama...twice. And the rest of the idiots gave us McCain and Romney as alternatives. Not everyone is as astute as your co worker or we wouldn't even see this kind of retarded nonsense.

But I do enjoy those rare moments when they swing somebody over to the thinking side of the fence.

Good. Hopefully that means kids stupid enough to not consider the consequences won't see it. This is one of those exceptionally rare moments where I really do "worry about the children." Kids are easily motivated by ideas and often don't reason out all the possible outcomes of putting those ideas into practice.
