Anyone have any experience with this? It looks like an interesting way to breathe new life into one of my older beater pistols.

Just making a non-judgmental, objective observation, but it looks like it would render your pistol incompatible with pretty much every holster except maybe the generic fit Uncle Mike's type stuff.

I am fairly confident the Safariland 3280/3285 would work with this.

As far as CCW...custom Kydex would be about the only route to go.

I have seen a lot of reviews on these lately from all sorts of sources. Unfortunately most of the reviews have been fluff pieces, no real hard use data or holster compatibility info. If viable it could be a good way to mount a light on an old Beretta or 1911 HD gun
