Reality check re. Bushnell AR 1x MP

Is it worth $70 shipped? A bud has one that co-witnesses perfectly with a Matech BUIS. I like the small outline of the Matech, I can see all around it.

I just picked one of these up with my last Palmetto order. I'm still waiting for it to be processed and shipped (waiting the usual 1-2 weeks at least). I have heard some good things about it, and I guess I wanted to try it out for myself. I have been shooting irons only (a2 front and DD rear) for a few years, and wanted to give it a try.

It's O.K., as cheap red 'dots' go. But, at nearly a pound (15.6oz.) it's not a light weight.

I have one on an AK that's held up, so far.

If you don't mind the weight, they're worth what PSA is currently asking - IMHO.

Also, as of the time this is posted, PSA has them back in stock.
