Hypothetical: A few M4C mods leave - who replaces them?

My first pick is Will Brink. Followed closely by MarkM just because he is always here. ;)

IIRC, sometime ago, there was an open vote to replace someone that left or stepped down. Not sure how exactly that turned out or how that whole thing started but the idea seems logical to me. I'm a littel hammered myself and cannot think of someone to theoretically vote in at this point in time but I'm sure there are a couple of deserving long-time members around.
