I've been following this forum for years, but I've never posted before. I think I finally have some useful information.
My favorite way to mount a light is at 12 o'clock, so I jumped on the SLM1 mount from Rosch Works when I discovered it. The mount is awesome, but I intended to use it with a G2X since I thought the diameter of the body was the same as the 6PX. I was wrong, the G2X slides freely in the mount when it is tightened down. No big deal, I ordered a 6PX post haste since that is known to work. I just wanted to pass the info along in case someone else was thinking of this combination.
Since I'm making my first post anyway, thank you all for all of the helpful info over the years that helped me to understand the AR platform and build a rifle I love.
