As some in the area may know, King 33 Training is nearly finished with the move into our new larger facility on the same property as our original facility at 75 Aircraft Rd in Southington - the former Pratt & Whitney property.
We've expanded to include two (2) new indoor ranges, both rated up to rifles in .308 caliber - a 180 degree live-fire 'flat' range (capable of bringing vehicles onto the range for training purposes) and an adjacent 360 degree live-fire shoot house. We're also building a new larger Simunition force-on-force shoot house, along with new classroom and office areas.
While these ranges will be available for private citizens to use, we are first and foremost a training company, not a private range or gun club, and these facilities will be used in the training of our clients - military and law enforcement personnel, private military contractors/security companies, and law-abiding armed civilians. We will have 'range hours' for people to come and shoot - where you'll be able to draw from your holster, shoot & move, transition from long gun to handgun, etc. - under the guidance of our instructors/coaches. Those 'range hours', along with our other scheduled training classes, will be posted on the training calendar on our website - http://www.king33training.com/#!schedule/ch3g
We're also now part of the Glock Range Program and may hold some of their events in the future, as well as some IDPA-type events.
In addition to the Simunition force-on-force training we regularly conduct, we also have an interactive LaserShot PSAT video system available for training purposes.
