So I was cleaning/inspecting rifles today before going to work and decided to swap triggers from one rifle to another. Upon doing so, I noticed that one of the trigger springs looked like this:

Now, this came from a Geissele SD-E. I'm betting that I botched the install last year and just never noticed.

I took the red spring from a SSA-E I wasn't using to use on this that I was installing SD-E. But I'm wondering, this spring looks dramatically different from the one on the SSA-E (it appears thicker and is a different color). If I wanted to get some spare parts, does anyone know if the SSA-E or SD-E series uses special trigger springs, and where to I get them? A cursory google search turned up nothing.

I'd bet if you call or email Geissele, they'll be able to hook you up. Their C/S from what I've seen is pretty top notch.

Yep, call Geissele. I bet they'll fix you right up.
