6.8 spc

6.5 Grendel

6.5 Creedmoor

.260 rem

all set up in ar's

in a hunting, target platform which round would be best?
normal engagements from 100 to 700 m

not normally a wildcat round kinda guy but these seem to have some merit

just looking for feed back and real field experience with the different rounds

thanks

DSA offers FAL's in .260 Rem. With the lightweight lower, and in particular with a 16" or 18" barrel, this is a compact and light package.
If ammo availability was not a concern, I always thought this would be a good combo. There are several very good options for .260 Rem commercial ammo; however it is simply not commonly available.
I had a .260 in a Rem model 7 bolt action for a while. I think recoil in an AR or FAL platform would be very, very manageable and allow very good follow-up shots.
