Did I get the barrel profile I ordered?

I purchased a mid length 16"so com profile barrel recently. It came in Friday and my first thought was "that's an m4 profile." Does this look like a socom to you guys?

Those jack weasels at PSA. Took two weeks to ship the wrong barrel. It will probably take them a month to get me a refund or the right thing.

Hate to see people trash vendors here without ever calling or emailing them to give them a chance to make things right. Seems to me that there's something in the rules around here about that, not to mention common courtesy. Anybody can screw up. The measure is whether and how they make it right.

If they jerk you around after you've contacted them, that's one thing. This is another.

First, I am not sure that there is even a "Socom" Mid length barrel profile offically. The profile that you have there though does look more A2 profile/standard profile. Maybe a bit heavier profile than my BCM middys but not what I would have figured on when I hear Socom profile. That said, looks close to what PSA has pictured on their site, not that their site has a ton of pics for that barrel, and what they do have are pretty low res.

Contact PSA and address the issue with them.

So instead of contacting the vendor, you decided to INSTALL it...? Then post about it.
