Hello, I've decided to sell my TA11E. It comes already mounted on a Larue Quick Detach mount.
I'm completely sold on the ACOG as a great general purpose 0-500 yard optic. I was fortunate enough to take a few classes with my other ACOG (TA31F - same reticle design as the TA11E) that focused mainly on shorter ranges and CQB skills. Most of the 30 guys in one of those class's were running red dots and good-naturedly scoffed at my magnified optic. :) Thanks to Trijicon's use of Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) (https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/company/unique_to_trijicon.php), I'm able to get on target extremely quickly with both eyes open at short distances. The other students stopped scoffing (and I think I won a few over) when I scored highest on the final competency test (points and time).
I've also successfully used this a few times at 500 yards prone, unsupported, with three different ammo loads, on 19" steel. I'm impressed with how useful the BDC is.

Anyway, as I said... I love the ACOG for a general purpose 0-500 yard optic... but want to try something more long distance (800+ yards) and precision oriented for awhile.
