So I was BSing with USMC03 yesterday and I was bouncing some ideas off him and I've got a couple questions that I hope someone can answer.

1.) Can the Surefire MB556AR Muzzle Brake/Adapter (http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/prrfnbr/24480/sesent/00/MB556AR-Muzzle-Brake-Adapter#) make a 14.5" barrel a legal 16" when permanently attached?

2.) Can the Surefire MB556AR Muzzle Brake/Adapter be permanently attached (i.e. pinned) and NOT affect the attachment or use of a Surefire FA556AR (M4FA) Suppressor?

I don't have a Surefire FA556AR (M4FA) Suppressor yet, but I plan on that being the first can I get, so I figured I might as well start getting some rifles set up for it and get ahead of the game.

Thanks in advance for the help!

It should be just fine. I have the Surefire 556-212A (556K) FH adapter on the end of a Noveske N4 barrel. I had my local gunsmith pin it in place and I have since mounted the can and shot it just fine. Just make sure the weld mark isn't overly big and you should be just fine.
