Which would you rather have and why?

6920 just for the 1/7 twist ratio and the lighter barrel profile. even if the 203 notch is useless for me since I'll never own a 203.

I could live with the 1/9 twist of the 6721, but I really dont like its HBAR profile and I dont want to mess with reprofiling.

I like the 6721 lowers and the 6920 uppers and that's what my Colt is.

I've owned both.

Sold the 6721. Didn't like the weight of the HBAR. It serves no purpose in a semi gun, IMO.

A 6721, and a trip for reprofiling, makes for pretty spiffy carbine.

6721 is a heavy biotch to hold a hallway with when you've got a light mounted, rail, etc. Plus, 6920 has 1:7 twist barrel for all those 75 grain and up loads.

I prefer the 1/9 twist of the 6721, but I'd take either. I never really shoot my LE6721. I mostly put the wear and tear on my mutt builds.

The one thing I don't like about the 6721 I own is the lack of an M16 carrier.

I have 2 of each and prefer the 6920 because of the 1/7 twist.

I would go with the 6721 HBAR's tend to have a much better moa and I never shoot ammo higher then 77gr so the 1/9 would be fine for me.. I shoot pretty much 62gr 70% of the time.. and will use 68gr match ammo once in a while. but 62gr works fine for me to about 600 yards.. I have never shot past that so it really wouldnt matter to me.. but over all I would go with an LMT anyway..

Different left side roll marks too......
6721 has "AR-15A3 Tactical Carbine"
6920 has "Colts Law Enforcement Carbine"

I'm with gotm4....I like 6721 lowers with 6920 uppers too

In my case my LE 6721 came with an emasculated bolt carrier. I left it in there to keep the rifle 100% original... I don't shoot it much anyway.
