View Full Version : Surefire M3 Combat, and changing tail caps awY from " screw to turn on? "
I have a very nice M3 Combat light and some other cheaper ($65 ish) surefires with those crappy " screw in to turn on" which I hate because I feel I always drain my batteries accidentally. I like the momentary or click to turn on.
Can you change tail caps to upgrade those lights?

I was going to suggest the Mcclicky switch replacement you can get from Overready (and others), but under $30 for the factory Surefire clickies? Damn, jump on that fast! Where were those when I needed them?

I got two a few months back from B&H photo at that price. But then the price went back up. :(
there were a few places that had them that cheap, and all of them went back up to $39. Almost like SF let them have a brief sale price.
Looks like they're out of stock though.

It appears that B&H's online store still have these for thirty-seven and change.
One thing with SF lights is that you can Lego some parts.
BH Photo had 57 and 59. Are these good to go ? What's the difference ?

Z57 (0.75") = SF [e] Series
Z59 (1.00") = SF [C/P/M] Series
I ordered both. I'm sure I'll find lights that need them.
