Five stabbed to death at Shanghai police station

A Chinese man armed with a knife killed five policemen on Tuesday when he went on a stabbing frenzy at a Shanghai police station, authorities said.

The man stabbed nine officers along with a security guard at the station in the north of the city near the railway station, the Shanghai public security bureau said in a statement.

Officers on the scene subdued the man and arrested him shortly after he entered the station, the statement said.

The man was a 28-year-old Beijing native named Yang who was arrested last year on suspicion of stealing a bicycle, according to the statement

What did you expect based on your thread? An in depth, room by room analysis as to how he somehow exterminated a bunch of likely aloof officers?

They probably had their guns stored while in the station.

Stallone, Arnold, Segal, and others do it all the time......catch your victim off guard before they're aware of what's happening, in no time at all 10 guys are terminated. Other possibility is that it was break time and the cops were too occupied with donuts. :D

I expected maybe some mature comments and/or discussion on the article and the act. I just really didnt find it amusing that five peace officers died as some of you apparently did. :rolleyes:
