I have been to the Rock Island Arsenal Museum and it has a collection of small arms on a smaller scale. It's worth stopping by if you are in the area.

I am a little surprised the Army doesn't have a national museum. I have been to the USAF National Museum and it is simply amazing to have all of that history in one place.

Fabulous, important treasure that needs to be seen. What a crock that they need to "raise funds" for a museum. I'm certain enough frivolous federal study grants to cut could be found in an hour to fund the whole thing.
