I would love to tour that facility in the article. It looks like an amazing collection.

I have been to the Rock Island Arsenal Museum and it has a collection of small arms on a smaller scale. It's worth stopping by if you are in the area.

That was a great read.

I am a little surprised the Army doesn't have a national museum. I have been to the USAF National Museum and it is simply amazing to have all of that history in one place.

Fabulous, important treasure that needs to be seen. What a crock that they need to "raise funds" for a museum. I'm certain enough frivolous federal study grants to cut could be found in an hour to fund the whole thing. The sexual behavior of LGBTLMNOP bees and the honeyphobic reactions of the hive can remain a mystery a while longer.

Very cool, thanks for sharing. I'd love to see a curator comb through and put together a traveling exhibition.

That stuff needs to be seen and not just tucked away.

Could be shared with world for the cost of two or three decent NFL player's salaries for a year. What a shame.

Thanks for sharing, that was awesome.

Not going to lie, I would take some of those soldier paintings over a Picasso or Monet any day of the week. Simply amazing pieces of art and history.
