Definitely a shiner, looks like an emerald shiner. The striping could be a local variation due to diet and breeding, maybe? There are hundreds of species of shiner though, could just be something similar- like the difference between a GSD and a Belgian Shepherd.

I googled Logperch and that seems to be the closest match. I found others have caught them in Lake Lewisville also. Some guy from Maine mentioned they are very common up there.

From what I saw they range from way up north down to the Gulf. I've been snowed in for two days so I was beating boredom searching, plus I love to fish :)
