Hey fellas, this is mostly directed towards people with Burris optics with the Ballistic CQ reticle.

Here's the reticle in my MTAC 1-4x

The issue I've been concered about is that the sizing of the reticle is pretty different from what Burris actually states not only on their website, but in the manual describing the performance of different zeros and cartridges with the CQ reticle.

Here's what Burris says it *should* be, and what I expected it to be. You'll notice that in relation to the center dot, the crosshairs appear bigger, the sizing between the 300-500 yard dots are less pronounced, and the bottom 600 yard circle is about the same diameter as the 500 yard dot.

I've used the scope on an issued M4 out to 400 yards, and the BDC appears to be spot on with M855, so I don't think the BDC is of any concern, just the sizing of the individual elements.

Do any of ya'll notice this with your MTACs or other Burris optics?

I just got one a few weeks ago and the bullet drop was pretty close when using some cheap Wolf steel ammo. I ran it out to 500 yds.

As far as the picture, itself goes, as long as the numbers come out good, don't sweat it. Probably it is just the illustration is not to scale.

I think the illustration is to scale (comparing D to H, or H to G, for example). I called the CS dept. at Burris and showed them the picture. The rep I talked to seemed baffled and is having me RMA the scope for an exchange.
