I'm looking for a edc flashlight, really want a single AAA over AA. My friend has a streamlight and I like the size, it was a single AAA and slum like a pencil.

For a single-AAA light it's tough to beat a Streamlight Microstream.

I'm a fan of their stylus pro. Same thing just two AAAs.

Yeah I think that's what he has. It's very thin. I may just get a single 123.

My EDC white light is a SF E1L single 123. With that said, if I was to opt for a AA or AAA light I'd go with the Streamlight ProTac line.

I went from an AAA light to an AA light to an RCR123 (rechargeable battery) light. It is small bright, and has good run times.

Either will clearly work fine, but there is a significant size difference. AAA lights work great for carry in a jeans pocket, but--for me--CR123 lights are a little bulky and are relegated to jacket/belt/bag carry.
