ATF wait time speed?

Hi I tried searching but don't know exactly what to look for, but I was wondering if there is any reason why some people have their form 4's back in 4 month while others wait up to 7 months? Does this have to do with your location, or whether it is a trust vs individual? Any help is appreciated, once my suppressor gets to my dealer I want to try and speed up the process if possible.

You'll learn a lot from this site. My NFA dealer says the biggest intangible is the ATF examiner. Some are faster than others, some have lower workloads than others. Good news, the wait times are much better than 1 year ago. The main thing you can do to "speed the process" is insure your original application is dead on accurate.

Those filling with a trust will get processed quicker than those filing as an individual.

Last year I filed form 4 in May got it back late Dec (7 months)

currently working on SBR form 1 and another form 4 surpressor
