Planning to start F Class shooting soon and looking at glass, what is the major advantage (if any) of the Competition (roughly $1800-$2400) line of Nightforce scopes versus the Benchrest line (~$1200-1400)?
Does the 15-55x of the competition line really help that much more than the 12-42x of the benchrest?
Is the side parallax adj on the competition better than the objective parallax adj on the benchrest? (side parallax doesnt disturb rifle as much when adjusted maybe?)
I have a few Nightforce scopes now (all NXS) and think the world of them and so I plan to stick with Nightforce. I honestly do not know what is the better choice, which is leading me to think that the less expensive scope would likely suit me just fine. I just do not want to kick myself for not spending a little more for something that is worth the extra $
