Tell me about the Vortex strikefire II

Just bought one bore sighted it in, have yet to live fire it, it feels very solid anyone have this setup what are the pros and cons

Lot of the info is fro 2009 and is about the strikefire1 looking for current info on the strikefire II

This is a nit, but why do people buy things and THEN look for validation? You bought it, so tell us what you think. You can add to the store of knowledge on the site that way.

FWIW, I have the Vortex SPARC, and it's a nice little red dot for the money. I like the 2 MOA dot, and small profile for the rifle it's on, but I don't like the blooming I get if the reticule brightness is turned way up. I mounted mine on a cheap deer rifle, and it gets the job done with no frills.

Its a cheap RDS. What else can be said. Not for serious use rifles.

It's a plinking optic. It'll do fine at the range but it's use shouldn't exceed that.
