View Full Version : New Dillon SUPER 1050 in 223 and looking a bullet feeder.

I have been loading pistol and 223 on my Dillon 550 and bought a Dillon Super 1050 in 223 and will keep it my Dedicated 223/5.56 loader and load only pistol calibers on the 550/. I am looking for a bulletfeeder for my Super 1050. The two I have found are Mr. Bullet and GSI NEW 223 Bullet Feeder. Are there any other brand that I need to look into?

The Mr Bullet Feeder by Double Alpha is the one you want. The GSI isn't as good. I run a Double Alpha on my 1050 for commercial reloading and it's a wonderful addition.

Part of me finds the case and bullet feeder notion repulsive. ;) There's a certain value in putting hand to bullet in my mind. But I'd love to check out a fully decked out 1050 some day.

I am with MarkM on this one. That and started off of a make-shift Lee press that had a bullet feeder and led me down the path of 2 1050s and a 550. :)

I un-accessorized my 550b. But that may just be my personality.

My question was about a bullet feeder not people jumping in leaving talk about shit. If you can't help me out with bulletfeeders for the Dillon SUPER 1050 keep your mouth quiet.

I'll have to check out some Youtube stuff on how these even work. I have to admit, bullet grabbing does get old on long loading sessions.

What is wrong with GSI? What problems have you had with it?
The proprietary toolhead isn't as reliable as the OEM Dillon toolhead and it causes loading issues. I don't see a 223 cal feeder for the 1050 by GSI but there is one for the 650. The 1050 feeders are pistol only from my experience.
